Privacy and cookie policy

This page explains what personal data we collect through pixery.ro, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have. In short: we only collect what you send us so we can reply, and our visit statistics use no cookies and do not identify you.

1. Who we are

2. What data we collect and why

• Contact form: name, email, phone (optional), and your message. We use them to reply and, if you ask, to prepare a proposal. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• “Let’s get to know each other” form: name, email, phone, and a description of the website you want. We use them to review the request and build the presentation website. The legal basis is the same: pre-contractual steps and performing the collaboration at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Direct messages by email, phone, or WhatsApp: the data you choose to send us, used only to reply.
• Spam protection: the forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3, which analyzes interaction with the page (for example, browser and device information) to tell humans from bots. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting the site from abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Usage statistics: we use Umami, a statistics tool we host ourselves, to understand which pages are visited and what works on the site (for example, how many messages start from a page). Umami sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not store your IP address, so visits cannot be linked to you. We only see aggregated data: pages, traffic source, country, device type, and browser. The data stays on our servers.

We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions based on it.

3. Who else has access to the data

We use a few providers that process data on our behalf, strictly to run the website and communicate with you:

• Google (Google Ireland Limited): email (Gmail) and reCAPTCHA;
• Telegram: we get a phone notification with messages sent through the forms, so we can reply quickly;
• Cloudflare: the network that delivers and protects the website;
• the hosting provider whose servers run the website.

Some of these providers may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, for example to the US. In those cases, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

4. How long we keep data

• Messages and quote requests: as long as needed to reply, and at most 3 years after the last communication if we do not end up working together.
• Collaboration and invoicing data: for the duration of the collaboration and then as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• Visit statistics: kept as aggregated data, with no information that identifies you.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• find out what data we hold about you and receive a copy;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;

To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or with the authority in your country.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. On pixery.ro we do not use analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookie protects the forms:
